WHAT IS A CERTIFIED REMODELOR (CR)?

The NARI Certification program is designed to establish professional standards for the remodeling industry and to improve the products and services to customers. Certification provides special recognition to those contractors who, by fulfilling prescribed requirements of performance and conduct, have demonstrated a high level of competency and ethical standards in the remodeling industry.

Those receiving the CR / CRA status are required to complete and pass an extensive written examination. In addition, the participants' past records of training, education, experience and accomplishments are documented and evaluated by the national NARI? Certification Board. The Certified Remodeler (CR) or Certified Remodeler Associate (CRA) is awarded to those individuals who have served the home improvement industry for a minimum of five years, upheld the standards of the NARI Code of Ethics, and have demonstrated competence in the basic areas of remodeling.
